You’re welcome, Laura! I’m so sorry for the confusion with the celery and carrots! I must have erased them when I updated the recipe. I’ve fixed it. Sorry again, and I’m glad you enjoyed the chili! – Meggan

However I Struggled With The Recipe Not Instructing On When To Add The Celery Or The Carrots. The Cooking Time Also Required MUCH Longer Time Than 30 Minutes Before Removing The Lid, It Actually Required Over An Hour Before The Sweet Potatoes Were Close To Being Cooked. I Mixed The Seasoning And Learned To Only Add 2 Tbsp For Me Anyway, Because Even That Amount Made It VERY Spicy. Overall I Totally LOVE This Recipe And The Folks I Have Shared A Bowl With Also LOVE IT!!! Thank YOU For Sharing This One!!!4 stars

I use a “plop” of sour cream, and a taste of horseradish for the “deviled” taste- leaving out the Worcestershire. I always have to leave the chopped pickles out of half of them for some of my family, but everyone likes a little crispy, chopped bacon scattered over the tops!. A sprinkle of paprika finishes them off for a pretty platter-5 stars

You can’t bring a pot of water to boil and cook pasta for 12 minutes and have prep and total times of 5 minutes. Feel free to delete this message. I don’t mean to criticize. I love this blog and have made many of your fabulous recipes. Keep ‘em coming!!5 stars

Made this soup tonight and it was wonderful. I used my Staub Dutch oven rather than the crockpot and it turned out great. I did soak the beans for about 4 hours this morning before making the soup. I’ll be making this again. Thank you for a delicious recipe.
