Hi Hailey, another reader made it in a pie pan and loved it. I hope you do too! – Meggan

The custard has a great flavor and I like that the crust is a bit more like a cookie than a pie crust which always gets soggy. The only TIP* that I would add from a lot of previous tart making- when you take your cooled custard out of the fridge, briefly whisk it to make it smooth and easier to spread. If your custard has set up correctly, it will be a bit stif and whisking it first will make it easier to fill your crust and smooth it out in the shell.5 stars

Hi Pam, is it possible you may have not added the cornstarch? Otherwise it might have needed some more time on the stove to thicken. Sorry about that! – Meggan
